Toys that Teach
An individual event, recognizes members for their ability to design, build, and demonstrate an original homemade toy which provides learning and play for either an individual child or small group of children. The toy is to be constructed of common, everyday household items, meet safety guidelines, and be easy to carry and use.

Little Toys, Big Learning
Put your creativity and child development knowledge to the test! Design and create an original, homemade toy that encourages learning, imagination, and play for an individual child or small group of children. Using common, everyday household materials, participants will create a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate toy that supports child development. The toy must meet safety guidelines, be easy to carry and use, and inspire children to learn through play!
