I have been involved in FCCLA since 7th grade and have developed the most enormous amount of love for FCCLA and everything it has provided me! I have also been swimming for 5 years. I plan to major in interior design and minor in real estate. I love traveling and meeting new people. FCCLA has brought me out of my comfort zone and into a better version of myself. Through Star events I have had the chance to travel the country and meet tons of new people. They have also taught me new things and given me many opportunities that I would have never imagined before. I can’t wait to start this new amazing adventure in FCCLA!

Hi everybody! My name is Mckenna Castagno, I’m a junior at Wendover High School. Go Cats! I’m excited to be serving as your State FCCLA President this year and for the chance that I will get to meet more of you! I have been involved in FCCLA since my seventh grade year. FCCLA has helped me become a better community member, family member, and leader in my school. I have enjoyed participating in STAR Events at the region, state, and national levels. In school I participate in student government, cheerleading, National Honors Society, and the Latinos in Action program. In my spare time I like to travel with my awesome family, hang out with my friends, rollerblade, dance, and make new friends! When I first joined, I️ had no idea what opportunities I would discover! That first year, I competed in a Star Event and when I found out that I qualified for Nationals located in San Diego, CA I️ knew this wonderful organization would have a major impact on my life!
